EXERCISE TANDEM THRUST 2001, TOWNSVILLE, Australia  -- Tech Sgt. Brian Welch from the 159th Fighter Wing, New Orleans, La. gives Sgt. Grahame Weston from the Royal Australian Air Force 323rd Combat Support Squadron, Townsville, Queensland a briefing on egress procedures of the F-15A.  Exercise Tandem Thrust 2001 is a combined United States and Australian military training exercise. This biennial exercise is being held in the vicinity of Shoalwater Bay training area, Queensland, Australia.  More than 27,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines are participating, with Canadian units taking part as opposing forces.
