The Mediterranean Sea (Apr. 25, 2003) -- An F-14D Tomcat assigned to the “Black Lions” of Fighter Squadron (VF-213) launches from the flight deck of USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).  The Black Lions are part of Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) embarked on the nuclear powered aircraft carrier currently deployed in the Mediterranean Sea.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate Airman Tony Foster.
