At sea aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Nov. 25, 2002 -- Aviation Ordnancemen assigned to the "Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Squadron Twenty Two (VFA-22) prepare to remove the safety pin from a Captive Air Training Missile (CATM) as one of the last steps prior to the aircraft's launch from one of four steam driven catapults on the ship's flight deck.  Carl Vinson is underway off the coast of California conducting training in preparation for an upcoming regularly scheduled deployment.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Inez Lawson.  (RELEASED)
