Description:
A high-angle heavy mortar, designed for indirect fire.
Features: The M-29 81mm mortar, like the 60mm
mortar, is a smooth-bore, muzzle-loaded, high-angle,
indirect fire weapon. It consists of a barrel, sight, bipod,
and base plate. Unlike the 60mm mortar, there is no
provision or need for the hand-held method. The M-29 has a
greater range, and its circular base plate allows for firing
in any direction.
