Gonaives, Haiti (May 9, 2005) - Sailors assigned to the amphibious
transport dock ship USS Austin (LPD 4) load a tactical vehicle from the
U.S. Virgin Islands National Guard's 640th Water Purification Unit.
Austin is attached to the Nassau Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) and
is supporting the retro grade of New Horizons equipment and personnel
after the successful completion of a three-month humanitarian exercise.
New Horizons provided relevant training to U.S. engineering and medical
units while fostering goodwill between the U.S. and other various
