Port Facility, Kuwait (Feb. 12, 2003) -- U.S. Marines of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) unload a light armored vehicle from a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) after it goes ashore in Kuwait. The Marines are embarked on the San Diego-based amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1).
