Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Conn. (Apr. 23,
2003) -- The Los Angeles submarine USS San Juan (SSN
751) is assisted into it's berth at NSB New London after
returning from an extended deployment in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the
multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi
people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and
end the regime of Saddam Hussein. U.S. Navy photo by
