THE ARABIAN SEA 1/13/2002 -- Crewmembers on USS
Greeneville (SSN 772) wait for USS Lake Champlain's (CG
57) Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) to maneuver into
position so they can unload supplies and personnel. USS
Greeneville is surfacing to receive food, supplies and
personnel from USS Lake Champlain. The RHIB will wait
for the right wave and ride it up onto the hull of the
submarine so the crew can unload the supplies and
passengers. USS Lake Champlain and USS Greeneville are
both patrolling the Arabian Sea in support of Operation
