Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Apr. 24, 2003) -- The Los Angeles
class attack submarine USS Cheyenne (SSN 773) returns to
Pearl Harbor after nearly nine months at sea. USS
Cheyenne is the first Pacific Fleet warship to return
home following Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi
Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to
liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of
mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
