Description:
Base mounted broadband dipole antennas which provide
vertically polarized, omnidirectional coverage over the 30 -
76 MHz and 30 - 88 MHz frequency bands for power levels to
800 watts. They are rugged, lightweight units sealed within
an epoxy fiberglass radome for prolonged use on a marine
shipboard environment. The zenith pattern of the antennas
are a figure-eight with maximum signal intensity along the
horizon and a half-power beam width of 800. The inherent
balanced dipole design and broadband impedance
characteristics make the performance of these antennas
relatively insensitive to its mounting environment. |
