gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86cm)
in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned:
Purpure, a bend Argent, overall a scimitar Or and in
sinister chief a sunburst of the last. Attached below
and to the sides of the shield a tripartite black scroll
doubled and inscribed "RESULTS THROUGH TEAMWORK"
in gold.
- Symbolism:
Purple and white are the colors traditionally associated
with Civil Affairs. The scimitar, which symbolizes
service in Southwest Asia, reflects the unit's baptism
of fire. The sunburst stands for the liberation of
Kuwait. Gold stands for excellence. Black denotes
solidity and dependability.

distinctive unit insignia was approved on 27 Jul 1993.
